Matthew 8:2-3 says “Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached Jesus. He knelt before him, worshiping. “Lord,” the man said, “if you want to, you can make me well again.” Jesus touched him. “I want to,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared. “
I ask you whose will healed the leper? Was it Jesus or the Leper?
Matthew 8:5-13 is a similar story where a Roman officer comes to Jesus pleading with him to heal his young servant who was “in bed, paralyzed and racked with pain”. The Roman officer impressed Jesus because he said “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed! I know, because I am under the authority of my superior officers and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say , ‘Go,’ and they go, or ‘Come.’ And they come. And if I say to my slaves, ‘Do this or that,’ they do it.” Jesus told the Roman officer, “Go on home. What you have believed has happened.” And the young servant was healed that same hour.
Again I ask, whose ‘will’ actually caused the healing?
In the first healing, Jesus touched the leper which was totally taboo so Jesus already believed the leper was healed. In the second healing, Jesus did not even see the sick man and yet the young man was healed.
In both situations someone was asking for a healing with the belief that Jesus could heal. I believe that the belief was very important. If they had such belief in anything or anyone else it would have occurred.
Belief is a main requirement for manifesting. This is not the superficial, ‘I believe’ but the deep undeniable belief that this is the way it is. So I see that the people asking were the ones who actually created the healing. Remember the many times that Jesus said “your belief has made you well”.
Get Congruent and Manifest Your Dreams

The idea of resonance and natural frequency has popped up in my awareness several times in the last few months. What do I mean by resonance?
Everything is made of energy and so has a vibration. This vibration is at a frequency that is natural to that particular item. Think of a tuning fork that when you hit it you can hear the frequency it produces. Different size tuning forks will produce a different sound. The tuning fork resonates at a frequency you can hear.
Another idea that keeps popping up that is related is congruence and natural frequency. Tesla did some experimenting with this. He was under the impression that if you could surround a person or object with the frequency of a particular place such as a clearing in the woods you could get that object to be in congruence with that clearing and that would cause the object to be transported to that place; Interesting idea.
Is this what is happening with manifesting? You need to be congruent with what you are trying to manifest. You need to be on the same resonance of what you want and then it will materialize. Think of those tuning forks again. If you have two forks that are tuned to the same vibration, when you hit one and get it going all you have to do is hold up the other and it will start vibrating at that same frequency, they are in congruence with each other.
But how do you get congruent with what you want? For one thing you have to believe it is yours. Have you ever had experiences like I have where there was a prize drawing and before they call the name you knew it was yours. That is the kind of belief you have to have. You have to know it is yours. Yes, but – that is the problem. All the ‘Yes, but’ statements that keep you from being congruent with what you want.
This is where Meridian Tapping or EFT can help out. As my husband is so fond of saying, “Tap it out”. Getting rid of all those statements can clear the field to allow you to be congruent with what you want. When you are congruent you can resonate at the same frequency of what you want and then you obtain it.

Worry is Like Constipation

July 26th, 2010 >> Energy, God, Manifesting, Physical/Material
Did you know that the word “worry” is derived from an old Anglo-Saxon word which meant to strangle or to choke? This is very appropriate as when you worry you are choking the life out of your world!
Worry prevents the life energy from flowing. Worry literally chokes the flow of energy. As Einstein pointed out everything is made of energy. In fact energy is flowing all around us connecting each and every thing in the universe. This energy is what sustains all things. You may think of this energy as God or Universal Power but whatever you choose to call it the main idea is that it is energy. When you worry, you create a necking down of this energy. You are so focused on your little world of problems that you do not see the larger world. It is when you see the larger picture you will feel gratitude; you will be uplifted out of your problem mindset.
Worry prevents the energy that can bring solutions from flowing to you. Worry is like constipation; only a little gets through and the backlog of the worry slowly poisons your system. Only when the worry is released does it allow the energy to flow providing fresh ideas and options that you could not see before.
Manifestation also requires the energy to flow. I had a dream recently where I effortlessly started using telekinesis to bring objects to me. It was as if the objects flowed to me. In the dream, when I tried to force the object to me, it did not work, I had to let it ride the energy flow, I could not force it by the power of the mind. I think this dream was about manifesting. You have to let it flow to you and it can not flow if you have choked the flow off with worry.
How do you prevent worry? Check back tomorrow.
“Do for others what you would like them to do for you. This is a summary of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.” This is important. Right here it says that this is a summary of all taught in the law and the prophets. If you don’t learn anything else, learn this one thing!
This saying also goes by the name of ‘The Golden Rule’. Jesus thought it was so important, he told thousands about it in his sermon on the mountain. Most all cultures and religion have something akin to the golden rule and for a good reason. This is the key to manifesting. You have to send out the positive energy to be able to attract positive energy.
If you want compassion, be compassionate. If you want love in your life, be loving and forgiving of others. If you are constantly sending out negative energy you will attract the negative into your life. This is the main tenet in the law of attraction.
I know of a very successful business woman who cannot tolerate pessimistic people who are always looking at why something can’t be done. It is like trying to mix oil and water. The pessimistic people will attract pessimistic people to them and the can-do positive people will attract the optimist because neither type can really tolerate the other. Which type of personality do you think is more successful?
If you tend toward the pessimistic side, try being optimistic for a week. Tell yourself that you can go back to the ‘realistic’ pessimistic thinking after the week. However after the week is up and you allow yourself to be ‘realistic’ again, you will find that you weren’t realistic before, just negative and your new ‘realism’ will appear more optimistic!
I dare you to give it a try!
I am a member of a group called “Mindful Happiness”. We meet in Morgan’s Point Resort City every Wednesday evening. It is a great group. We talk about the Law of Attraction, Manifesting, Spirituality, all types of interesting topics. Last week we decided to try group manifesting over the next six months and the topic chosen was weight reduction. (I purposefully did not use the term weight loss because when you use the term loss your mind goes into panic that it lost something and starts looking for it and before long you weigh more than you started with.)
At our meeting tomorrow we will look at different techniques to help with this manifestation. Maybe I will invite everyone to come to my house just down the street. I have a mirror in my bathroom that makes you look thinner. I love that mirror and will miss it when we redo the bathroom (I am manifesting that right now). Some people just can’t see themselves thinner and this mirror can help them visualize. One of the keys to manifesting is to visualize exactly what you want.
We will also discuss what prevents us from believing we can weigh less and ways to overcome that limiting belief system.
We do have one person in the group that seems to manifest easily. I can hardly believe all that he has manifesting in the last two years! He will probably come in the following week 50 pounds lighter.
If you live in the Temple, Belton, Killeen area check us out on Yahoo groups and come to a meeting. http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Mindful-Happiness/
Manifesting and the Law of Attraction have become big topics lately. You know how you start thinking about something and then more information about it starts coming your way. This is along the lines of buying a new white Honda Civic and all of a sudden every other car you see is a white Honda Civic. I guess that is the Law of Attraction at work.
I have been bombarded with info from various areas about manifesting. One piece of information was about a woman who won almost every contest she ever entered. The one thing that this woman and all the other people I have read about have in common is Faith, the unshakable belief that something specific was going to happen. I remember having that feeling a few times when I saw a door prize and I knew that it was mine, and it was. This was a feeling as if my heart leaped out and grabbed it.
This reminds me of a woman in the town where I grew up, she was mentally retarded and lived with her mother. But this woman would find out about a contest and enter it. Having the child-like mind she had, she believed that she would receive the prize, and she often did. She and her mother had been around the world on free trips that the daughter had won! Maybe this is what Jesus meant when he said that “anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it” (Mark 10:13).
We are capable of having the kingdom of God right here and right now if we have faith. This takes this whole business of having faith and believing to a new level and since my fear left three months ago, I have been concentrating on the business of faith and I have to tell you, things are changing! It is very interesting.
The Spirit Creates Our Lives

July 10th, 2010 >> Change, Energy, Life, Manifesting, Physical/Material, Relationship, Spirituality
I feel I need constant reassurance that God is there and cares about what is going on down here on the material plane. Sometimes I think God is only concerned with the Spiritual.
But no, the spiritual and the material are both tied together. The spiritual is important because it continues after the material is gone, after the physical is gone, after the relationships are gone. All these; physical (health), relationships, and material (wealth), are reflections of the spiritual or the ongoing soul.
Are they different aspects of the soul?
It is like a bud that cannot contain itself any longer and it burst out into a flower; that is what the spirit is doing. It bursts out into something you can sense better, something physical be it a relationship, wealth or health. Sometimes the spirit is troubled or not on the right path. I hate using the word ‘right’ as there is no true wrong or right path, it is more of not being true to whom you are (a child of God) and things we don’t like crop up in our lives. This is a form of manifesting.
The spirit is an energetic force, a vibration. This force creates feelings and emotions. These feelings can have a direct impact on our health. Many illnesses have been linked to negative emotions.
Our relationships are definitely linked to our emotions. Try to have a close relationship without any emotions! It won’t happen. You may have positive or negative emotions but you will have emotions.
For the physical, the new rage is the law of attraction and that involves feelings. You attract more of what you are feeling into your life. If you are feeling hopeful and optimistic more comes to you to give you hope and optimism. If you are feeling worried and scared more comes to you to emphasize those feeling.
We are constantly evolving personally and as a species. It can’t be helped. We are all generating things on this earth, that is why nothing ever stays the same but all is constantly changing.
Manifesting with Matthew 4:6-7, 9-10 Cont. from July 6

July 8th, 2010 >> Bible, God, Manifesting
The second temptation in verses 6-7 claims that the angels will protect you. (Don’t go thinking that this only applies to Jesus. God loves each of us immensely, no matter who we are.) Yes, the angels can protect you, but don’t go and do something foolhardy just to see that they will. You do have free will and the angels won’t interfere if they see that is what you want to do.
This free will business is tricky. God gave us free will. It is not free will if a decision you make can be condemned by God. It is like a dictator saying “you are free in my country” but then having anyone killed that does not do what he says. This is not true free will. Another interesting side note about ‘free will’ involves willing something to be or not. I have read so many articles and books about manifesting (these are real life stories) and one of the attributes for manifesting is to have a strong will for it to occur. This gives a whole new meaning to free will.
The third temptation of Christ in the wilderness is basically a form of bribery, doing what someone else wants you to do. No, hold the faith and do what you know you should do. In other words, be yourself. Be the best (insert your name here) you can be. Be true to yourself and who you are. God created you so you are who you are supposed to be. You have the likes and dislikes and talents for a reason. Yes it may be a thorn that you have to overcome to build character that you do not possess but more than likely it is for you to work with and develop to its full potential. Believe in yourself and God will provide the doors and opportunities and that does not involve lowering your standards to accept something someone else is holding out with strings attached.
Last Saturday I jumped ahead of my self by going into Matthew 7, I will digress today. Let’s examine Matthew 4:3-4 concerning Jesus temptation in the wilderness. Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness. The 40 days is a symbolic number which means until completed. The 40 days in the desert and the 40 years in the wilderness just means until what needed to be done was done. (We just don’t write like this anymore).
Whatever the actual length of time, Jesus was hungry. Turning the stones into bread seems like a good thing to manifest when you are hungry. But in so doing you are limiting what God maybe wanting to give you. Jesus had to hold The Faith that God had something better for him and He did. At the end the Angels came and cared for him. The Angels probably provided a lot better than bread.
Verse 4 says “people ….. must feed on every word of God.” To me that is holding the faith. Believe that God has something better for you. The word of God is creation. Remember Genesis, God spoke and his word manifested. The word of God is the manifestation of what you need and want.
Thousands of years ago, people believed that the spoken word held much power. Even today we have power in our words. We can create or destroy; we can uplift or bring down. I worked for someone who would talk about one of his sons. This man said that he always told his son that he would end up flipping burgers and guess what the 40 year old son was doing… flipping burgers. Someone else hearing this man talk commented that it was a good thing he never told the son he would end up in prison.
I have been known to have what negative thing I said to come true. This quirk prevented me from saying anything linking tornadoes and mobile homes in the same sentence when we were living in one. I can say it now since we no longer live in a mobile home — “Tornado bait” there I said it. (Why do I feel like looking over my shoulder?)
This is part of the well known ‘Sermon on the Mountain’. These particular verses say to stop judging others or you will be judged. It is a specific application of the ‘Golden Rule’. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
The ‘Golden Rule’ is very much in alignment with the Law of Attraction. What you throw out there is what you will get back. In the case of this scripture, judgment is the criteria. We humans tend to judge everything. We judge workmanship, we judge plants, we judge countries and we judge people. Boy do we judge people! It is very hard not to judge. Try going through a whole day without judging. Bet you can’t do it! Even when you think you are not judging, you are.
I have a tendency to make excuses for people. Someone speeds past me and I think maybe they just got a call from the hospital that a loved one only has minutes to live. But even when I make excuses for someone I am still passing judgment. If I had not judged them, I would not have made an excuse for their actions.
What is so bad about judging someone? For one thing we tend to judge negatively. When we judge negatively, we invite negativity into our lives. We get the negative judgment thrown back at us.
The second thing is that we assume we know what is going on in the other person’s life. That is a big fallacy. We usually don’t have a clue. I have found that people tend to do the best they can under the circumstances they live with. Sometimes they are tired, but they do the best they can. Sometimes they are in pain, but they do the best they can. Sometimes they have mental problems, but again they do the best they can.
The third point is what we like and don’t like in someone else is what we like and don’t like in ourselves. The next time you are hot on criticizing someone, stop and take a look at your own life. If you are honest, you will see the same behavior in yourself. Often it takes asking a friend who will give a candid answer if we have that trait. Be ready for the answer, you may not like it.
I am not going to ask you to stop judging, but be prepared for what gets thrown back at you.
