I stumbled onto this and wanted to pass it on. I have always felt that Passion and Persistence were important for success, but this added a few other items.
Yesterday I wrote about my friend’s manifesting experiences. Well there is more. Apparently her fiancé at the time (new future husband) was not really falling for the whole manifesting thing. She kept insisting that he give it a try himself. So finally he put pen to paper and wrote something out.
He was planning on going to school but needed a laptop computer for his classes. So he wrote that down. She told him he had to be specific so he wrote down the color, brand, and all the programs he wanted preinstalled, everything he could think of.
The next day at work his boss told him to take a ride with him to the bank. This was not unusual the boss usually asked someone to go with him when he went to the bank. What was unusual was that the boss just sat there a minute when they were at the bank and turned to Joe and asked, “So you are really planning on going back to school?” Yes was the reply. The boss then reached into the back seat and said, “I guess you will need this” and pulled out a black laptop and handed it to Joe. The laptop was the right color, brand, and all the trimmings that Joe had written down!
Joe has been a believer ever since.
Learn How to Manifest Your Desires

I have a great book for those who are trying to figure out how to manifest.
I’m Rich Beyond My Wildest Dreams–I Am. I Am. I Am.: How to Get Everything You Want in Life
By Thomas L Pauley and Penelope J. Pauley. This book leads you through their story on manifesting their desires.
After I read this book, I was having a discussion about the law of attraction with a friend and she commented that she did not have a clue about how to go about manifesting. So I loaned her this book.
Boy was she good at it. At the time of our discussion, she was living in a very small 3 bedroom 1 bath rental with herself and 5 children one of which was severely handicapped. She had spent Christmas at the hospital that year with the severely handicapped child and lamented the fact that she did not have a husband that could help her with all of this.
After she read the book she found a man and they fell is love. This new love in her life took her to see a ‘for sale by owner’ house. She said she had never considered looking in the ‘for sale by owner’ section of the paper. She fell in love with this house. It was an ultra modern 1950 style, lots of glass, lots of rock. It had 5 bedrooms, three bathrooms, a two car garage, various tool and garden sheds and a separate office/cottage with its own half bath. She couldn’t believe her good fortune. The house was easily three times bigger than her present rental. She worked the numbers and figured she could pay for it even after they got married and her love took a year out to go to school. That was almost 3 years ago and she is still enjoying her house, her husband and her new life.
A child who wakes up from a nightmare is often comforted by their mom with the words “Don’t be afraid”.
There are many passages in the Bible that start with “Do not be afraid”. Usually when and angel appears or God’s voice is heard.
Those words are meant to be comforting and calming. They mean that no intentional harm is coming to you.
Using reverse logic, does this mean that we should be afraid if we happen to see an angel and they don’t say, “do not be afraid”? I don’t really think of angels as being something to fear.
I use to want to see a ghost, but then I decided I would probably be scared out of my wits if I did. I have never heard of a ghost saying, “don’t be afraid”. So I decided I would rather see an angel. Then I started realizing that there are many angels among us. Any one who gives of themselves or their resources to help some one in need is an angel in my book. There are angels all around us. I can even be an angel to some one else.
Have you ever been in a situation where you needed help and some one appeared to help you? You had an angel moment.
Several years ago, my car died as I was making a turn so I pulled to the side of the road and tried to start it again. Nothing happened. I was trying to decide what to do. I asked Archangel Michael to help out as I had read he was good with computers. But as I turned the key again nothing happened. I called my husband who was out of State, as if he could do anything at the time, just the comforting “don’t be afraid” voice of his was helpful. But while I was on the phone, someone pulled up behind me and asked if I needed help. It was a mobile mechanic!
He worked on my car, trying several different things and it still would not start. But I was not worried. He replaced Spark plugs, still no start. Then he replaced wires. By this time I had been stalled and he had been working for about 2 ½ hours and I had this distinct feeling that “Ok, this has been long enough, time for the car to start”. So this time when he turned the key the car started. I had to pay him for his work but I still considered him an angel for being there when I needed help. Maybe Archangel Michael did help me get the car started by sending a mechanic.
Want a Better World?

You were born with certain gifts and talents. This is what makes up your inner self. Many people deny their gifts and talents because of upbringing, society or what well-meaning teachers said to them. We tend to bury them and say the “c” word, can’t.
Remember your gifts and talents are what you bring the world. You are here for a reason. Each of us can make a difference in the world because each day we are creating our lives, our surroundings and our world.
If you want a better world you must start with yourself and the here and now. Make time to use your gifts and talents. This doesn’t mean selling your house, quitting your job and uprooting your family. Start simply. Cook something for the co-worker who is going through a rough time, let them know you care. Join the local acting guild. Start writing that book you always wanted to write. It doesn’t matter where you start, just start. Then let it lead you. You may find yourself selling your house, quitting your job and uprooting your family, but at that point it will feel like a natural progression, not forced.
Just share your talents and gifts with the world. We need you.
Your Passion is Your Inner Power

Where does inner power come from?
I believe it comes from your passion. Your passion is your strength as it can move mountains. Don’t tell me that Napoleon did not have a passion. It might have been a misplaced passion to conquer the world, but he had a passion. All the great people we admire had a great passion for what they did. Mother Teresa felt compassion and developed a passion to help the unfortunates in Calcutta.
Did you notice how the word compassion has passion in it? I believe that is not a coincidence.
Passions can develop and change. What you were passionate about when young may be totally different 20 years later so it is always good to review your passions. If you are at a lost to what your passions are get a copy of “The Passion Test” . This book will help you discover who you are and what your passions are. If you know your passions, you are halfway to discovering your destiny and changing the world.
I have always been fascinated with what it takes to change the world.
How can one person create major change? I remember reading stories about kids not yet teens, who had made an impact on the world or at least their corner of it.
When I was young, I had no idea I could do anything like that. I didn’t even have control of my own life what would make me think I could do anything significant in the world, so I didn’t. It wasn’t until I turned 50 that I felt an energy shift and started realizing that one person can make a difference.
It is not an external power that creates change but an internal power acting on the external world. Every one knows that Napoleon was short, he was only 5’2” but did you know that Alexander the Great was only 5’. These people were small of stature but they had large internal power that they acted on the world around them.
I just watched the movie “Gandhi”. That was a man who assumed a figure of little power but because of his great internal power he accomplished much for many people.
The next question that begs to be answered is how do you get that strong inner power?
I will leave that for later.
Bad Vibes

You have heard the term “bad vibes”.
When we were looking for a house to buy, I would enter the house and check for any bad feelings or vibrations from the house. You may have done that yourself. Have you ever entered a place and felt you did not like it, or met a person who did not sit well with you even before they said anything.
I had a friend that purchased a house where an estranged husband had broken in and chased the woman down the road and killed her. When I visited this friend, I listened close to what the house was emitting and felt it was clean. I did not feel any bad vibrations; I guess they had followed the woman down the street.
We constantly send out vibrations that others pick up on. I see that in my cats all the time. Cats are more sensitive to energies and are better at judging and reacting to them. I have a cat that sends out a vibration of fear and in doing that one of my other cats is always attacking or acting like she will attack. I think in sending this vibration out he is actually attracting what he fears back to him. I wish I could explain to him that his actions are attracting what he doesn’t want. I have another cat that Misty will also try and intimidate but he ignores her and she gives up and leaves him alone.
How much negativity are we attracting into our life by our vibrational frequency we are sending out. This is the law of attraction at work. You get more of what your emotions are sending out. If you don’t like what your vibration is attracting, change it. EFT and meridian tapping are great tools to easily change your vibration.
Conscious Living

What is conscious living?
My definition is living a life where one is aware of and at peace with their actions. To be at peace with our actions means that we agree that we did the best we could, or we did what was right.
This is more than just knowing what I am doing; it is actually being in control of my actions and knowing why I am doing something. I am deliberately doing something with intention. This does not negate spontaneity. Sometimes an opportunity may come along and a person may deliberately decide they will take that opportunity. A person doesn’t just go along with the flow but they make their own path. In other words they know what they are doing and they agree with the action. In fact living a conscious life will actually open you up to more possibilities, as you will start to notice them.
Conscious living is living in the now. It is being aware of what is going on right now all around you. What do you hear right now? What do you smell? What do you see besides the words on this page? The now will open up in front of you and you will experience more and see more as you become aware.
I know I am not presenting this real well but a good and entertaining book about living the conscious life is Way of The Peaceful Warrior: A Book That Changes Lives by Dan Millman. This book tells the story of a young college athlete and his friendship with an old man who becomes his mentor in striving for a conscious life. This is a really inspiring and mind-opening book. It will change the way you look at your life. There are great possibilities out there but you have to be aware of them by being aware of what is going on around you. For those who prefer movies you are in luck Peaceful Warrior is in DVD form. If you need a Christmas present this will be one that will be used over and over.
I have been talking on censorship the last couple of days. I guess I get on tangents.
I talked about censorship of words, but what about actions. Often actions speak louder than words. You may say one thing but your actions do not agree with the words. That is why raising children is so hard. They don’t do what you say, they do what you do.
It is very difficult keeping your actions in sync with your words. Face it, we are lazy and to live the life that is congruent with what we say we want is hard work.
This is where many people fall down in trying to manifest the life they want. To manifest what you want, you have to be congruent between you words and you actions. If you say you want to be more successful in your business, but you don’t take the opportunities as they come, you will never be more successful.
So we have to constantly censor our actions to achieve what we want and to be who we want. If we live a life that is uncensored we will live an unconscious life.
