Ok, I am doing it again. I am still expecting some major change in my life. I don’t have a clue as to what it is but I keep seeing number sequences that point toward a major change. I have been using Doreen Virtue’s book “Healing with the Angels”, where there is a chapter at the back titled “Number Sequences from the Angels”. These numbers have been helpful in the past so I do tend to look at them.
Last night I woke up and looked at the clock which read 3:55. This morning I looked up the numbers and just like the number sequences I have been seeing over the last six months it indicated a life change. It said “The ascended masters want to prepare you for a big life change that is imminent. They want you to know that they are holding your hand through this change and that everything will be all right. Embrace the change, and look for the blessings within it.” What is going on?!?!
I know that life and the future is in constant flux. I think another name for life is change. We tend to prefer for things to remain constant around us because that is familiar. Even if we are in pain and mental anguish we are often afraid to take the first tentative steps out of the situation because it is a change. I work with people with pain issues using EFT and they get great results (while I am working with them) and I tell them they will have to do the homework daily for two or three weeks before the pain will totally disappear and will they do it? No! Next week they are back to where they were the week before because they won’t take action for themselves to enact change.
But when change is forced upon us? How do you handle change? I must be honest. I don’t usually handle it very good. I often get anxious which is a normal reaction because it is new territory. With all this notice I have been getting of a change and now in the last couple of weeks that change is imminent you would think I would be a nervous wreck but I am not. I am actually very calm and curious as to what will happen. As soon as it happens I will let you know what the change is. Maybe that is the change, being able to stay calm in the midst of uncertainty (I haven’t even had to do EFT to stay calm!). That is new for me.
I have been reading a lot of things lately that are playing with the accepted definition of reality. We have an expected reality. We expect that table to really be there. We expect that chair to support our weight. We expect ourselves to have weight!
When someone steps beyond our reality we tend to get nervous and want to call the men with the white coats. Who is this person to tell me that table doesn’t really exist? Who do they think they are? Can’t they see it and feel it? They must be crazy. Those men in the white coats better have strait-jackets with them.
Let’s play with the idea that nothing really does exist. Everything is a construct. Just like Shakespeare said “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players:” Everything is ‘fake’. If it is ‘fake’ then what is the purpose for this construct? Maybe like the stage in Shakespeare’s quote, we are here to play, to entertain, to be entertained, to be someone we are not. That may be it! To be… someone we are not.
On the other side, in the spirit realm, things may be too perfect so to experience challenges and stress and to play at being someone we are not; we audition for parts and get to go on stage. What we call ourselves also implies this, think about the term human being. We are being human for a while. This elaborate setup provides opportunities for us to experience, learn and grow.
If this is a construct, who constructed it? I would venture to say that not only has a higher power had something to do with it but we all have made a contribution. We are all in on it. We have agreed to certain ‘rules’ to live by. We feel the table. We see each other. We have to eat to survive. What would happen if all of a sudden we decided that this was not true and it all vanished? There have been some people through time that have altered their reality. Some have been declared Saints, some have been killed for their abilities (but then if this is all fake, do we really die?). There are people alive today who do not play by the rules or who have created different rules to live by.
Wouldn’t it be fun to create your own rules and life by them? Tomorrow I will write about that.
Ok, this is getting weird. Some people would say I am weird as it is, but this is even weird by my standards.
Saturday morning I woke and looked at the clock, it read 7:55. On a whim I looked up the numbers in Doreen Virtue’s bookHealing With The Angels.
Over the last 6 months every once in a while I would wake at 5:55. This happened enough to grab my curiosity and I looked the numbers up in Doreen’s book in the chapter on “Number Sequences from the Angels”. The sequence 555 says “Buckle your seatbelts, because a major life change is upon you. This change should not be viewed as being “positive” or “negative,” since all change is but a natural part of life’s flow. Perhaps this change is an answer to your prayers, so continue seeing and feeling yourself being at peace”.
I have been questioning my guides about my direction in life and if I needed to make some changes so you might say I have been listening attentively. I have also been questioning this ‘change’ in my life as I have not seen any major change yet.
When I saw the clock on Saturday morning, I decided to look the numbers up. Doreen’s book only deals with sequences such as the same number in the row or a series of two different numbers such as the 755. The book states that 7’s and 5’s such as 775 or 755 means “This is a validation that you are ‘on target’ with an impending change that will enrich you either physically, emotionally, or intellectually – or a combination of all three. Stay on course and you will soon see the evidence of how the changes add to your own life, and to that of those around you.” So I thought this was interesting considering what I have been questioning in my life lately.
Then this morning while meditating, I felt I should look at the clock and it said 8:58. I thought it was odd that I looked at the clock right then, especially since I try not to look at the clock until I am through with my meditations. So I brought the book back out. This time the book states that for sequences which includes 8s and 5s “This number sequence signifies that you are at the 11th hour, right before the change. Do not fear this change, as you will be supported and loved throughout this change, which is now imminent.”
No, all the number sequences in this book do not talk about change. Some are just reassurance that you are not alone, or that the ascended masters are being attentive, or that if you don’t like what you are getting change your attitude before you get more of it. So it has been interesting that all my sequences are pointing toward a major life change. I wonder what it is. I will let you know when I figure it out.
Which is Better – A Rubber Band or EFT?

Yesterday I talked about the placebo affect and how the placebo often gets better results than the actual medication. This just shows how powerful our minds really are.
You have seen people with the same disease or same circumstances. One will wilt and get worse and worse while the other will be upbeat with a positive attitude. The more upbeat person will be the one with the best chance of overcoming the problem. I think we all know this at some level. But if we know it, how come we don’t practice it. We know we will be better off and may even improve our lot in life but we stay in the depressed, down, woe-is-me syndrome.
What is required is a shift in attitude, but that is often easier said than done.
Years ago I had panic attacks. I did not like them. It limited what I could do. Even going grocery shopping was very difficult for me. But how do you shift your mind?
I read that wearing a rubber band on your wrist and snapping it when ever you started to feel the anxiety would bring you back to the present. The premise is that the panic occurs because you are trying to live in the future. Well the rubber band helped … for about 3 seconds then the panic would be back. I flicked that rubber band so much I did not feel it any more.
I went to a workshop a couple years ago where they had us all put rubber bands on our wrist and then pull them back and snap them on our wrist. I don’t remember what the reason was for doing this at the workshop, but here we all were with rubber bands. The group I was standing with fidgeted and no one could get up enough nerve to snap their band. So right in front of them I pulled mine back a foot and let go. It made a big snap and every one was impressed. But the years of doing this for my anxiety had toughened me to that rubber band snap.
So how do you make changes to your attitude? How do you get past the fear and the anger? What did I finally do to get over my panic attacks? I used EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). If you want help with your issue go to www.naturallyresilient.com.
Placebo Effect

Wow! It looks like the changes in the world are occurring!
What changes you may ask? The changes the holistic community and light workers are expecting soon. These involve the ability to manifest easier, a realization that there is much more out here than the physical world and the ability to heal ourselves.
Dr. Mercola recently had a report from Wired Magazine (August 24, 2009) that stated: “From 2001 to 2006, the percentage of new products cut from development after Phase II clinical trials, when drugs are first tested against placebo, rose by 20 percent. The failure rate in more extensive Phase III trials increased by 11 percent, mainly due to surprisingly poor showings against placebo. Despite historic levels of industry investment in R&D, the US Food and Drug Administration approved only 19 first-of-their-kind remedies in 2007—the fewest since 1983—and just 24 in 2008. Half of all drugs that fail in late-stage trials drop out of the pipeline due to their inability to beat sugar pills.”
To me this is saying that we are making headway with changes in our spiritual beings.
The article continues with: “Some products that have been on the market for decades, like Prozac, are faltering in more recent follow-up tests. In many cases, these are the compounds that, in the late ’90s, made Big Pharma more profitable than Big Oil. But if these same drugs were vetted now, the FDA might not approve some of them.
Isn’t this wild! Even the older drugs when retested are not beating the sugar pills!
It’s not that the old meds are getting weaker, drug developers say. It’s as if the placebo effect is somehow getting stronger.
Maybe we are finally realizing we do have more control than we thought.
The fact that an increasing number of medications are unable to beat sugar pills has thrown the industry into crisis.”
I guess the drug companies would get pretty nervous about this report and will probably try and debunk it. I think it is great and gives me more hope for the future of mankind.
Manifesting Your Bank Account

I believe in the symbolism of life, everything around us including our aches and pains are there to represent something in our life. Often it is there to mirror how we feel about ourselves, or it maybe to reflect some other emotional state. With this in mind, I have an interesting idea. What does your bank account symbolize? Could it be a symbol of your perceived value of yourself? The numbers on your bank statement are just numbers, you give them meaning. These numbers are reflecting back to you your perceived value.
If this is true, you could change you bank account by changing your self value! If you struggle with money, you may be undervaluing yourself. But you may say, “This doesn’t apply to me. I think I am a great or at least good person with value to offer.” Let me counter that. Often symbolism shows up when we will not acknowledge an emotion, or a problem that we are having. Our ego tries to protect us by hiding our true emotions from ourselves, it doesn’t help that our culture has tried to teach us to smother our emotions. The physical manifestation appears to try and show us what is going on in our emotional life.
Our emotions drive so much of our life. It is our strong emotions that manifest things in our life. The law of attraction relies on emotions. The more intense the emotion the faster it will manifest.
So now that you realize that you have a low bank account and want more in it, what do you do? One method that can help change your emotional outlook is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or one of the other meridian tapping techniques. If you would like help uncovering the emotions behind what is going on in your life, go to www.naturallyresilient.com and sign up for a session. We can get to the bottom of it and make a change for the better.
Playing With Life

There has been an idea coming to me over the last two years. I have always heard that if something comes to you three times you better take notice. Well this has been coming at me multiple times! The last one was Sunday when we were reviewing Ecclesiastes. This is a book in the Bible that is rather cynical as one of my classmates put it. We all agreed that it sounded like a teenager blogging their deep thoughts and questions, trying to make sense out of life. There was a kernel that jumped out at me. Ecclesiastes 3:22 states “So I saw that there is nothing better for people than to be happy in their work. That is why they are here!…” This was just another version of what I have been confronted with over the last 2 years.
“Have fun”, “Play with it”, “Enjoy life” this is what I have been hearing over and over again. Am I that dull of a person that I have to keep being told to enjoy being here? My life has had some hard and rough patches or stretches over the last 18 years so maybe some one is trying to wake me up and tell me that it is ok to have fun again. It is hard to stop stressing about life when you have done it for so long. I am working with the various energy techniques I know such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), Meridian flushing and tracing, other meridian tapping techniques and of course “Law of Attraction” work.
I see playing with life, playing with energy flow, as being positive qualities that according to the “Law of Attraction” will bring more good and positive things into my life. I want to play with life and have fun!
Last year I did an experiment where I noted how I was doing emotionally and what happened in my life soon after my emotions changed. I noted that when I was feeling up and positive good things happened and life went smoothly. When I was feeling down, depressed and scared soon my life started attracting reasons to feel that way. The feelings always came first!
This year I am trying to stay positive, trying to play with life. I never thought of myself as a negative person but it has been a struggle. Writing positive words on me has helped; also shifting to anticipating good in the future is helping me stay positive. I can often feel the energy flowing and I will often stop and play with it, raising its vibration. I will keep you informed about how the “law of attraction” goes with the positive thinking.
Intense Emotions = Manifesting

I am big on symbolism. Many of the inconveniences and problems in life are symbols of other things that are going on in our emotional life. Our emotions have a tendency of coming out in physical form. This is what the ‘law of attraction’ is all about. In fact the more intense the emotion the faster something will manifest.
I have heard that the prayers of mothers are answered the quickest and I believe that is due to the intense nature of a mother’s prayer for her child.
However, to our dismay we often materialize the negative things in life quicker than the positive. This is because we can quickly bring up the negative emotions with more intensity that we can bring up the positive emotions. Try it right now, think of something bad and see how fast and how intense you can bring up the fear, the worry or the anger. Now think of something happy or good and see how long it takes to bring the intensity of that emotion to the same level as the negative emotion.
Some people are good with the positive emotions. I am not – yet. I am working on it. As they say, the first step is recognition of the problem.
There are techniques that can help. Vision boards give you something to focus on. Meditation can help calm a person. Prayer or talking with your spirit guides can help you realize you are not alone and it gives you someone to hand your hard problems to. But all of these are difficult when you are in the middle of the trauma that is bringing on the emotions. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow and let it wash over you and when you come out on the other side you will finally see the sun shining.
Last Sunday I reviewed a book called The Hidden Messages in Water by Masaru Emoto. In my review I mentioned I would write positive, uplifting words on me like Mr. Emoto did with the vials containing water crystals and see what happens in my life. I have done that this week and have noted that it is easier to stay positive when I have written positive words on myself. (I did seem to have a slip on Tuesday when I wrote about worry).
Now when I start feeling down, all I have to do is think about the words I wrote on myself and those feelings come over me. The words ‘Love’ and ‘Gratitude’ seem to be the strongest.
I will continue to do this for a while and let you know if anything significant happens in my life.
Have we gotten too busy? It is almost like we are living several lives in our one life of 70 or 80 years.
With divorce and remarriage we enter new relationships. Each relationship is there to teach us something. Sometimes it is the same lesson over and over until we finally get it or give up. Sometimes each relationship is totally different from the previous one. Our relationships are often our greatest spiritual growth tool while we are on this plane. Just 100 or 200 years ago, divorce was rare and someone was looked upon as defective if they left their spouse. That one relationship was meant to last a lifetime, until death do us part.
The same can be said about careers. People have no lifelong attachment to their employer mainly because the employer has no lifelong commitment to the employees. A hundred years ago, this was different, but now not only do we change jobs every few years but we also change careers every 5 – 10 years. Are you doing the same thing you were 10 years ago? Are you in the same line of work? Is it drastically different? Often it is. We can live several lives in one lifetime just by drastic changes in our career. This was unheard of 100 – 200 years ago.
What about where you live? I have heard the average American moves every 3 years! It may be next door or it may be across the nation or even internationally. Years ago people tended to live and die in the same town they were born in. I am amazed nowadays when I run into someone who has never been out of state or has always lived in the same town. I think that most American came from adventurous stock. We came here from other countries; seeking adventure, seeking a new way of life, looking for something we could not describe while our more sedate neighbors stayed rooted in the homeland. Therefore Americans do tend to move around more even today. We are not afraid of adventure, heck we often seek it! So we move. Pioneers moved west seeking a better life. Even today we move seeking a new and better place.
What kind of changes have been going on in your life in the last decade?
