Manifesting with my “Wise Guy”

When I meditate, I sometimes talk to my “Wise Guy”. I visualize this person as a wizardly, Gandalf looking person with a long white beard and a floppy pointed hat. He usually does not start the conversation. I have to ask something and he will answer. Sometimes his answers are short and to the point and other times I don’t get a real clear answer (just a feeling of confusion) until I change the wording of my question and other times I receive a lot of detail and we have a great discussion.

I have been struggling with the idea of manifesting, especially how to manifest. I tried to manifest a cup of coffee and it took a year before I received that coffee but when it started coming it really came fast and a lot of it. Within one month I received 3 Starbuck gift cards, a free coupon for a McDonald’s coffee and another free coupon for another coffee! But why did it take so long?

This was on my mind when I started my meditation. This time my “Wise Guy” started the conversation – very unusual. He said “Let me show you where I live”. So I followed him. I expected to be led to a grass hut looking place but we ended up at a cave. I thought “A dark, gloomy cave”. But when we went inside the walls started lighting up and gave a beautiful soft light. He then said to have a seat. I looked around and there were rocks to sit on. I sat down and immediately the rock formed around my shape and became very comfortable. My “Wise Guy” then came to me and said “This is the difference between you and I. I allow it to happen; you try and force it to happen.”

Now I am working on allowing and how to do that.
