Get Congruent and Manifest Your Dreams

The idea of resonance and natural frequency has popped up in my awareness several times in the last few months. What do I mean by resonance?
Everything is made of energy and so has a vibration. This vibration is at a frequency that is natural to that particular item. Think of a tuning fork that when you hit it you can hear the frequency it produces. Different size tuning forks will produce a different sound. The tuning fork resonates at a frequency you can hear.
Another idea that keeps popping up that is related is congruence and natural frequency. Tesla did some experimenting with this. He was under the impression that if you could surround a person or object with the frequency of a particular place such as a clearing in the woods you could get that object to be in congruence with that clearing and that would cause the object to be transported to that place; Interesting idea.
Is this what is happening with manifesting? You need to be congruent with what you are trying to manifest. You need to be on the same resonance of what you want and then it will materialize. Think of those tuning forks again. If you have two forks that are tuned to the same vibration, when you hit one and get it going all you have to do is hold up the other and it will start vibrating at that same frequency, they are in congruence with each other.
But how do you get congruent with what you want? For one thing you have to believe it is yours. Have you ever had experiences like I have where there was a prize drawing and before they call the name you knew it was yours. That is the kind of belief you have to have. You have to know it is yours. Yes, but – that is the problem. All the ‘Yes, but’ statements that keep you from being congruent with what you want.
This is where Meridian Tapping or EFT can help out. As my husband is so fond of saying, “Tap it out”. Getting rid of all those statements can clear the field to allow you to be congruent with what you want. When you are congruent you can resonate at the same frequency of what you want and then you obtain it.

I have heard some people say that EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or Meridian Tapping is not lasting, that the pain comes back or the issue gets better as long as the tapping is performed but it is not lasting. I beg to differ!
When I do quickies for pain, it is mainly to show that there is power in the technique and I also warn them that the pain may come back the next day. I put that warning in because the underlying issue was not addressed. It will take a full session to determine an underlying issue and even then there may be a tangle of issues or even a past life issue involved.
An alternative to an in-depth psychoanalysis is to tap daily for the pain when ever it comes up. I have done this myself. I would tap physically or mentally on the pain, not knowing why the pain was there. It would take about two to three weeks of tapping, each time I would drop the pain to a one or a zero, finally one day I would notice that the pain was gone and I had not tapped for a couple of days.
I figure that whatever the issue was had finally resolved either in living my life or from the tapping. One explanation is that each tapping session where the pain or issue if brought down to a zero means that another tree in your emotional forest has been topped. Not chopped down, just topped. Then the next tree associated with that pain pops up the next day and you top it. You eventually have the original tree sticking above the other issues again and you top it again and so it goes until all the trees associated with that pain or issue are leveled.
So don’t give up! Some things worth doing take a little effort. We have come to expect instant gratification and success and EFT is about as instant as you can get in terms of emotional release however some work may be required in the form of self-searching for the cause or consistent, persistent use of the procedure.
How are you doing?
No, really how are you doing? Are you happy? Are you sad? Maybe you feel worried, or discouraged or joyful or mad. Maybe you are in physical pain. Stop and take inventory.
Now, where do you want to be? Maybe where you are and where you want to be is not too different. But for many people I bet there is a wide gulf.
Maybe you are settling for less than you should in your life. Are you afraid to wish for too much? You can be happier and healthier than you are now! You don’t have to settle for mediocre.
Do you know how to get to where you want to be?

Are you being bombarded with fears and anxiety? The coming week’s blogs will have a heavy dose of improving your emotional outlook. I know this is so very important as I have been there and understand the consequences.
A very useful method to eliminate the fear and anxiety (I will talk of others over the next few days) is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or Meridian Tapping. What I find interesting about this method is that it will only remove the negative and never the positive! I believe this is because we are born with the positive, the ‘fruits of the spirit’; this is who we truly are. But in living our lives, we start hauling the garbage with us, a little insult here, a bad experience there and soon they are weighing us down. That load is hard to carry.
Sometimes you can not locate what the load really is. What is great about EFT is that you don’t actually have to know, or even if you do know you don’t have to tell anyone. EFT isn’t talk therapy; it is get rid of the bad feelings therapy.

The Commandments and The Law of Attraction

As promised, today is how the commandments 4-10 relate to the law of attraction.
The rest of the commands have to do with how we treat each other. If we are truly living in abundance and in the law of attraction we will not do any of these because that would be like doing it to yourself. What goes around comes around. Be good to others and good will come to you. Let’s take a few and look closer.
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy’. You don’t have to work your tail off. Take some time off and recuperate. Have faith, expect that good will come and let it come. This can also be expressed as take time for gratitude which is very important in the law of attraction.
“Honor your father and your mother”. Ok who hasn’t had a dysfunctional childhood? Congratulations, move to the next paragraph. The rest of you keep reading. I am going to use the big “F” word: Forgiveness. I know it is hard, but your mom or dad or who ever wronged you had a crappy childhood too. More than likely they did not wake up each morning thinking of ways to make your life miserable. For the few who had parents that did, remember you are grown up now and can break those ties for your own good. They don’t have to be in your life any more, I give you permission to never see them again! Thank them for what they taught you, because you did learn from them, then move on. Those lessons may not have been pleasant but they formed you. Now you know what you do not want to be like. Remember you are forgiving them, not their actions. But if you can’t bring yourself to forgive, work on the issues involved with EFT or one of the other meridian tapping methods. (Go to www.naturallyresilient.com to learn more). Lifting the weight of the issues from your shoulders will help you tremendously.
The next several are no-brainers; don’t murder, don’t commit adultery, don’t steal, don’t lie. This falls under what you think about comes about. If you do something to someone else then that is the way you view the world. If you view the world as unfriendly that is the kind of world you will get. I have heard it said that the most important decision you will ever make is to decide what kind of a world you live in; a friendly one or an unfriendly one.
What about the last one; you shall not covet. This is beyond just wanting what they have. In the law of attraction, you can attract the same thing into your life if you want it. You do not have to take from some one else to have it, there is plenty to go around. This is beyond just wanting because I also see this as rejoicing with your neighbor for what he has accomplished. Be glad that you neighbor has figured out how to attract good things into his life. This is like love, just because you love one of your children that doesn’t mean there is less love for the other children! Rejoice and be glad and expect just as good for yourself.
These tenants are great ones to live by and can enrich anyone’s life no matter what culture they live in.
Tuesday I wrote about fear and how prevalent and insidious it can be for so many.
I have a strong passion about bringing this to everyone’s awareness because I have been there. I have lived most of my life in fear. I have never really had anything to logically be afraid of but this fear has always been with me. It got so bad that 13 years ago I developed panic attacks. After several years of suffering, I did overcome the panic attacks with the use of EFT. If you are interested in how I did that go to www.naturallyresilient.com/Bio.html
I was thrilled that the panic was gone but the underlying fear was still there.
You may not have panic attacks but if you are still reading this, I am assuming you are dealing with some form of fear in your life. Today I wanted to tell you how you can overcome that fear for yourself by telling you what I have done.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or some other form of Meridian Tapping is a great place to start.
Get a notebook and start writing all the incidents in your life that have been uncomfortable for you. Anything that caused you pain or problems or anyone that caused any form of emotional turmoil. You are not just looking for things or events that caused fear in your life, but anything you wish had not happened. Our emotions are often so tangled together that the first emotion to surface may be anger but often anger is just a cover for an underlying fear.
You should come up with at least 50 items on your list. Now pick one of the items and start to apply EFT or Meridian Tapping to any emotion that arises. When you clear one emotion another may take its place. When you can finally replay the event or think of the person with no negative emotion, move to a new item and do it again. It may take 30 minutes or more to clear one event, but it will be worth it. After you have cleared a number of issues, your life will start to feel calmer and more in control.
If you still wake in the middle of the night in a panic, take the next step, release the fear. I know this is easier said than done, but you can do it. One night I was lying in bed with my fear as company and I started thinking about how I have had this fear all my life. It was a revelation to me that this fear was not anything new. I realized the fear had just displayed itself in different ways throughout my life and even in my past lives I knew about! I decided that enough was enough! At that point a calm came over me. The next morning I still felt calm but I realized I had to fill that place where the fear had been so it could not come back. What can replace fear? I chose faith; Faith that God was for me, Faith that the universe could provide good things in abundance to me, Faith that I would be taken care of and everything would work out.
That has been about two months ago and I am still feeling calm and I am still relying on faith.

I wanted to continue Saturday’s blog with today’s book review. Gary Craig has written a series of books on using EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) on various issues. One of his books is EFT for PTSD (EFT: Emotional Freedom Techniques).
What exactly is PTSD? The usual diagnosis requires at least one symptom from each of the following categories:
1. Events are relived through nightmares or flashbacks. The person may have a strong mental and physical reaction when they are reminded of the event.
2. The person will take extreme measures to avoid activities, thoughts, feelings and conversations that will remind them of the event. The person may not be able to remember details about the event or they may feel emotionally numb and detached from the present moment. Something the seminar mentioned were many vets who felt disconnected from their souls. One such vet told his counselor that he could see his soul sitting in the other chair. It was not safe for his soul to integrate back into his body.
3. No interest in important activities. The person feels alone and can not experience normal emotions, a feeling of depression.
4. This person can never relax, is always on guard and over reacts when startled. There is trouble sleeping, feels angry or irritable and can’t concentrate.
From the above list you can see how almost anyone who has a traumatic event could end up with PTSD. What I think is a shame is that there is such a marvelous way to handle this tragedy, easily and effectively and it is not being used enough.
Gary covers the basics of how to do EFT, through various techniques to use for releasing and reducing the trauma. Some of the techniques show you how to sneak up on the core issues without having to really go there until you are ready.
This little book also has input from many practitioners and their experiences. This is a great book to broaden your knowledge of PTSD and EFT.
PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) has been in the news a lot lately. Most of the news has been geared toward our troops coming back from war areas. This is the ‘shell shock’ of other wars. I live close to one of the largest army bases in the US, Fort Hood. Their practice shelling rattles our windows. A year ago I went to a three day presentation about PTSD and our troops. There was a lot of good information presented. One piece that stuck in my mind was that our troops have gotten younger and younger. In World War II the average age of a soldier was 26 while now days the ones being sent off to combat are usually 18-19, much younger. This is significant as the younger you are when a traumatic incident occurs the less likely you are to be able to deal with it emotionally.
The experiences of life seem to help a person deal with more extreme experiences. This is why a person who had an abusive childhood may experience PTSD.
Another question that was brought up was why do some people seem to deal with the same situation better than another person? The answer has to do with a person’s background or childhood. A person who had a more traumatic childhood will be more likely to exhibit PTSD. The past trauma that was ineffectively dealt with as a child is being replayed in the war situation and the adult not only has to deal with the most recent situation but also the past, often buried (that is how the child dealt with it) situation. This is often too much to handle.
What is often ignored is that anyone can have PTSD. Some one who experiences a bad car accident, or whose house is broken in, or who is severely attacked by a dog can be extremely emotionally affected resulting in PTSD symptoms.
PTSD is an attack of the emotions. It is an attempt of the mind to protect itself. What works well with releasing negative emotions? EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or one of the other Meridian Tapping Techniques can be used to neutralize the negative aspects of the emotion and give the person back their life. There is no reason to live such a desperate life. You can be better! Check out www.naturallyresilient.com and sign up for a session.
There are times when you need to do EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or Meridian Tapping but you are in a public area or would feel too embarrassed to tap in public. There are ways to deal with this. You can tap on the finger points only. You can do this under the table. I have gotten so good at finger tapping that I can do it one handed; using my thumb to tap the other finger points, and my index finger to tap the thumb point. When you tap with one hand and people can see you, it looks like you have a nervous twitch.
Where are these points you may ask. Hold one of your hands in front of you with the palm facing you. The points are at the top edge of the nail on each finger. If you thumb turns like mine, the thumb point would be the edge of the thumb nail closest to your body. This is where the nail and flesh meet.
There is another way to tap without anyone knowing. This is silent and inconspicuous and is all in your head. It is imagine tapping. Just imagine you are tapping on the points, this can get almost the same results as actual tapping! I have used this on numerous occasions. I have often used it on others. I just imagine I am tapping on them. It is amazing how effective this can be.
A great use for imagine tapping is when you are having a hard time falling asleep at night. Just imagine tapping on yourself for tension, release of tension, feeling relaxed and pretty soon you will find yourself waking up in the morning! Give it a try for yourself.
