What is Your Theme in Life?

Posted by: Ann

November 4th, 2010 >> Energy, Life

What are your life experiences?

What are you here to experience?

Think of it as an emotion. What emotion do you tend to experience over and over, often in different ways? This may be why you are here on this plane.

I believe we all come from a spiritual realm where we can not experience certain emotions so we come here for the experience. It is like going to an amusement park and riding the scary rides. We are terrified and the adrenalin is pumping as we ride and we are glad it is over but then we run to stand in line at the next one.

Think about your experiences in your life. What emotion do the experiences seem to have in common? It is not the experience that is important but the emotion behind the experience. That is why we are here, for the emotion not the doing.

I have a theme in my life of fear. I have seen how I have had it in many situations in my life. I have had fear for my health, fear for some one else health, fear for my safety, for the safety of others. I have been on my knees sobbing in intense prayer concerning some fear in my life. Fears have concerned jobs, relationships, money and the unknown. (Not all at once). What I fear changes, maybe so I can experience a different aspect of the fear.

As I thought about this I realized there wasn’t much left that I had not been afraid of at some point in my life. That was when I decided it was time to change the theme in my life. I am ready to experience something different. I started thinking; what should I experience next in all its various forms? I decided I wanted something more positive for a nice change. I could not just knock fear out, it had to be replaced.

It was hard to not start thinking of goals to accomplish. No, I had to dig deeper and ask what emotion was behind the goals. What experience was I trying to bring about? What was the emotion I wanted to feel and what exactly did that feel like. If you can feel it you can obtain it. What emotion did I settle on?

Success!

Now this needs to be a gut feeling. How does success feel in the gut? To me I feel an energy rising from my stomach into my chest or heart area and then I feel an energy emerging from the 3rd eye. Interesting that the heart is involved; the traditional seat of love and longing. The 3rd eye to me indicates a reaching out to manifest.

The night I thought all this through, I dreamed that I was pregnant. I believe this new idea was what was manifesting in the dream.

I will have to see if this new feeling comes to fruition. I know that the fear is a habit by now and to break it will take a few weeks of concentration. When ever I start feeling the energy of fear (which resides in my shoulders) I will consciously replace it with the energy of success.

Love is an Important Vibration

One of my first blogs I wrote had to do with the missing link in our foods. (To read the full article, go to http://www.naturallyresilient.com/blog/?p=6) This missing link is an energetic link, one that is associated with a higher vibration – Love.

Now I want you to think of other things that can bring out a feeling of love. Some things may come to mind like weddings, babies and music. I want to concentrate on music; not the head-banger, rap stuff. That type of music can cause your vibration to lower not raise. (A simple muscle test can determine if the music you enjoy is helping or hurting you.) Classical is the most common music that can raise your vibration, and what type of instrument do you think of most often when you think of Classical? A violin.

My husband was talking to an artist friend Omar Barba recently who is learning violin, who said something interesting. This artist’s violin instructor had recently purchased a violin. The instructor did not want a new instrument, no they wanted a well used and cherished older one because the tone of the violin gets richer as it ages and is used.

Have you ever watched some one who loved playing the violin as they were playing? There is a look of intense concentration and rapture on their face. All that exist is them and their music; it is a form of making love to the music and the instrument. My husband and I believe that this energetic vibration of love carries through to the violin which resonates with the years of love and being cherished that it has experienced, making the tones richer and more beautiful through the years. Just like when love going into the food making it more nutritious, love goes into the violin making the sound it makes more beautiful.

Your Energy Field is Real – Young People of Today Know This

I am anticipating this current crop of teens taking command of the world. They seem to be more in tune with the energetic world around them. I have introduced my son, who is now 16, to many of the energy healing methods, such as NAET, EFT, Reiki, and Body Talk. He has experienced some first hand and has even performed some himself.

When he was younger I showed him how you can strengthen a person by putting your palm on their forehead and how you can weaken that same person by putting the back of your hand on their forehead. I even managed to win at arm wrestling match with him by using that technique. He won’t arm wrestle with me any more.

My son understands the principle of muscle testing for what weakens your energy field. But I was still surprised when he came back from the youth mission trip this year with a new ‘trick’ to show me. This involved muscle testing and a method to weaken or strength the energy field that I did not know about.

One person would stand with their arm straight out to the side and another person would zip their energy, running a finger from mid chest, down the sternum to about the belly button. Then the arm would be pushed on to test the strength and it would be strong. Next the person would run their finger the other direction, from the belly button, up the sternum to about mid chest region. At the retest, the arm would be weak meaning the person could not resist the same pressure. They may have considered this a silly party trick, but many of our useful inventions started out as toys and interesting curiosities.

A Release of Energy

I am going to continue with Matthew 9:20-22 today. Actually the portion I want to examine is mentioned in Mark 5:30. This is where Jesus felt healing power go out of him when the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years touched his robe.

Energy is all around us, it is in all things, and it flows through all things. Some people are very in tuned to this energy.

I had been going through a rough time a couple of years ago and was attending a series of lectures about PTSD. During a break time, I was walking back to my seat when an older woman with long white hair came up to me and said “I felt energy leave me and attach to you when you walked by and I wanted you to have this”. She then pressed a crystal into my hand. I thanked her and told her I would send her energy back to her later.

On the way home, I remembered my promise and I released her energy. WOW! I felt a major release of energy flow out of me. I was amazed, why did I not feel that energy attach itself to me? There was so much of it and I was amazed that I had not felt when it had come to me. If we are not tuned into the energetic exchange around us, we do not feel it. I was turned into the energy on the way home when I released it and therefore I felt it.

Since we often do not know when an energetic exchange is going on, a good bedtime practice to get into is releasing all energy that is not your own, sending it back to whomever it belongs to and calling your energy back to you from where ever it may be. I like to send and receive the energy with the phrase “transmuted through Christ’s white light”, this cleans and raises its vibration.

Give this a try yourself and you may be in tune enough to the energy that you will feel it leave and you will be revitalized by your returning energy.

Desperation Leads to Answered Prayers

Posted by: Ann

August 17th, 2010 >> Bible, Energy, God, Manifesting

Matthew 9:18 starts the story of the synagogue leader who had a little girl that was not just dying but was dead! She had just died and in his panic and desperation he sought out Jesus. This was a daring act on his part as he was a leader and people looked up to him. Like famous people nowadays this man had a high up position and was in the limelight, at least in his area. Jesus had an uneasy relationship with the synagogue leaders, they were not too sure of him at this time and you might say he was under scrutiny. Maybe this was why this father did not come sooner but waited with hope that his daughter would improve. Maybe he was in denial, but then the unthinkable happened, she died. But in his panic this father knew that if any man could help, Jesus could.

Desperation is a very powerful emotion. This is the emotion that provides strength to a woman so she can lift a car off her child. Desperation is a strong emotion to put into prayer. The stronger the emotion the faster the prayer is answered. The answer may come as an idea that pops into your head like this father all of a sudden thinking of getting Jesus or it may actually cause something to materialize (the item may have always been there but you may not have ever noticed it before).

Desperation can cause us to act in ways we would not normally act. When desperate, we may appear to act irrationally which is what the mourners at the girls house thought of the father’s actions. They ridiculed him when he came back with Jesus. The girl was dead, they knew what death looked like. During this timeframe and society people were quite familiar with death. But desperation causes irrational acts, it causes people to take chances and sometimes those risks pay off.

You Do Have Free Will

Posted by: Ann

August 14th, 2010 >> Energy, God, Life, Physical/Material

I have been thinking a lot about free will lately. That term has always confused me in the way it is used in theology but I think I am finally making sense of the term with my investigation of the ‘law of attraction’ and manifesting.

Let’s review; we are spiritual beings who are basically made of energy. If you look at the smallest physical particle of matter then look deeper past the atom past the electron you will finally get to pure energy and that is what everything is including you and me.
Since the only thing that truly exist is energy what are our thoughts? Energy of course.

Our thoughts go out and solidify into substance. The more energy (passion, effort or even continual thought) you put into something the faster it will solidify and materialize.
How does this relate to free will? You are free to think what you want, free to experience the emotions you want. You are free to send out your thoughts and create whatever you wish. This free will perpetuates itself because what you think the most about will draw those experiences and things to you to reinforce those thoughts. So you create your life through your thoughts and your free will. God wants you to use your free will otherwise God would not have given it to you.

This is a case of be careful what you wish for (or think about). When you dwell on the negative in your life you create more of it.

This is where free will gets sticky and the theological idea of “Your will not mine” comes into play. I firmly believe that God wants us to live a passionate life, one that is true to who we really are. If we are in alignment with who we truly are, then we are in alignment with God’s will. We often get sidetracked about who we are. We often insist that we are helpless, or a victim, or miserable because we have bought into what someone in the past told us or you have let a past experience tell you that is who you are now. No that was who you were then. Each moment is a different choice and you get to choose.

Get Congruent and Manifest Your Dreams

July 29th, 2010 >> EFT, Energy, Manifesting, Meridian Tapping, Physical/Material, Vibration

The idea of resonance and natural frequency has popped up in my awareness several times in the last few months. What do I mean by resonance?

Everything is made of energy and so has a vibration. This vibration is at a frequency that is natural to that particular item. Think of a tuning fork that when you hit it you can hear the frequency it produces. Different size tuning forks will produce a different sound. The tuning fork resonates at a frequency you can hear.

Another idea that keeps popping up that is related is congruence and natural frequency. Tesla did some experimenting with this. He was under the impression that if you could surround a person or object with the frequency of a particular place such as a clearing in the woods you could get that object to be in congruence with that clearing and that would cause the object to be transported to that place; Interesting idea.

Is this what is happening with manifesting? You need to be congruent with what you are trying to manifest. You need to be on the same resonance of what you want and then it will materialize. Think of those tuning forks again. If you have two forks that are tuned to the same vibration, when you hit one and get it going all you have to do is hold up the other and it will start vibrating at that same frequency, they are in congruence with each other.

But how do you get congruent with what you want? For one thing you have to believe it is yours. Have you ever had experiences like I have where there was a prize drawing and before they call the name you knew it was yours. That is the kind of belief you have to have. You have to know it is yours. Yes, but – that is the problem. All the ‘Yes, but’ statements that keep you from being congruent with what you want.

This is where Meridian Tapping or EFT can help out. As my husband is so fond of saying, “Tap it out”. Getting rid of all those statements can clear the field to allow you to be congruent with what you want. When you are congruent you can resonate at the same frequency of what you want and then you obtain it.

Five Ways to Prevent Worry

Posted by: Ann

July 27th, 2010 >> Energy, God, Guides, Life, Relationship, Spirituality

OK worry is bad for you. This is the general worry that freezes your mind and sends you in a panic. Some worry is helpful. Helpful worry like helpful fear is that which spurs you to action; such as a child falls in the pool and can’t swim, the fear and worry causes you to dive in after them.

No the worry I am talking about is that which limits your view; you can’t see a positive future in fact you may not see any future at all. This is the worry that stifles and prevents action. This type of worry often feeds off of itself; one worry leads to another, snowballing to the point that you give up.

How do you drag yourself out of such a place without spending a fortune on therapy? I have some suggestions.

1. Start every day by reading something positive. You can even read the same book or chapter or poem everyday. The prime requirement is that it is uplifting. No downers. Some suggested reading material is listed at the end of this article. If you are not into reading, there are many audio tapes out there with uplifting material.

2. Reaffirm you faith and belief. If you affiliate yourself with a spiritual belief, remember it. When I was going through a rough time of worry I realized I was not practicing my faith. If I truly believed what I said I believed then I had to exercise that faith. The belief that I exercised was that all things work toward good and that God would take care of me. I also believed that God wants to give you good things. When ever I start to feel down or start to worry about bills or finances I turn back to that belief and feeling that I will be taken care of, and guess what, I have been taken care of. Have hope in the future.

3. Go for a walk. The exercise will do you good, but don’t just walk, look around you. Look at the trees, the clouds, the animals and feel gratitude for each of them. In sending the gratitude you are reinitiating the energy flow that worry has choked off. Keep the energy flowing through out the day by looking up and being grateful for what ever your eyes see. Try and really feel the gratitude.

4. Talk to your spirit guides. We all have them and they really want to help but they cannot help if you don’t give them permission. Just talk to them like you would a friend you are telling your troubles to, or you could just think the conversation. Ask for their help in what is troubling you or ask for them to help you be more positive. Just having some one else to talk to can help (even if you can’t see them). You can talk to a trustworthy friend but you run the risk of that becoming a pity party or one-up-manship competition on who has the worst life. This is not the kind of thing you want to dwell on and your spirit guides will not join in your pity.

5. Be open to solutions. As soon as you start letting go of the worry and replacing it with gratitude and hope for a better future, solutions will start to come to you. You may still be in a slightly negative bent and may be tempted to automatically negate any solution that pops up but try to realize what you are doing when that happens. Pay attention to the solution and give it a legitimate look. A true solution may seem weird but as you think about it, doors will start to open to allow it to happen.

There is a way to a better, worry-free life. You can do it!

Worry is Like Constipation

Posted by: Ann

July 26th, 2010 >> Energy, God, Manifesting, Physical/Material

Did you know that the word “worry” is derived from an old Anglo-Saxon word which meant to strangle or to choke? This is very appropriate as when you worry you are choking the life out of your world!

Worry prevents the life energy from flowing. Worry literally chokes the flow of energy. As Einstein pointed out everything is made of energy. In fact energy is flowing all around us connecting each and every thing in the universe. This energy is what sustains all things. You may think of this energy as God or Universal Power but whatever you choose to call it the main idea is that it is energy. When you worry, you create a necking down of this energy. You are so focused on your little world of problems that you do not see the larger world. It is when you see the larger picture you will feel gratitude; you will be uplifted out of your problem mindset.

Worry prevents the energy that can bring solutions from flowing to you. Worry is like constipation; only a little gets through and the backlog of the worry slowly poisons your system. Only when the worry is released does it allow the energy to flow providing fresh ideas and options that you could not see before.

Manifestation also requires the energy to flow. I had a dream recently where I effortlessly started using telekinesis to bring objects to me. It was as if the objects flowed to me. In the dream, when I tried to force the object to me, it did not work, I had to let it ride the energy flow, I could not force it by the power of the mind. I think this dream was about manifesting. You have to let it flow to you and it can not flow if you have choked the flow off with worry.

The Spirit Creates Our Lives

Posted by: Ann

July 10th, 2010 >> Change, Energy, Life, Manifesting, Physical/Material, Relationship, Spirituality

I feel I need constant reassurance that God is there and cares about what is going on down here on the material plane. Sometimes I think God is only concerned with the Spiritual.

But no, the spiritual and the material are both tied together. The spiritual is important because it continues after the material is gone, after the physical is gone, after the relationships are gone. All these; physical (health), relationships, and material (wealth), are reflections of the spiritual or the ongoing soul.

Are they different aspects of the soul?

It is like a bud that cannot contain itself any longer and it burst out into a flower; that is what the spirit is doing. It bursts out into something you can sense better, something physical be it a relationship, wealth or health. Sometimes the spirit is troubled or not on the right path. I hate using the word ‘right’ as there is no true wrong or right path, it is more of not being true to whom you are (a child of God) and things we don’t like crop up in our lives. This is a form of manifesting.

The spirit is an energetic force, a vibration. This force creates feelings and emotions. These feelings can have a direct impact on our health. Many illnesses have been linked to negative emotions.

Our relationships are definitely linked to our emotions. Try to have a close relationship without any emotions! It won’t happen. You may have positive or negative emotions but you will have emotions.

For the physical, the new rage is the law of attraction and that involves feelings. You attract more of what you are feeling into your life. If you are feeling hopeful and optimistic more comes to you to give you hope and optimism. If you are feeling worried and scared more comes to you to emphasize those feeling.

We are constantly evolving personally and as a species. It can’t be helped. We are all generating things on this earth, that is why nothing ever stays the same but all is constantly changing.
