Life Force is Tied to Your Passion
Posted by: Ann
January 25th, 2010 >> Energy, Life, Physical/Material
This is something I have mentioned before, living your passion. But this time I want to approach it from a different angle.
We all have things we really enjoy doing or wish we could make a living at or maybe just something to which you want to devote a lot of time. But many of us do not live our passion. I want to encourage each of you to live your passion.
Why? Because that is where you get your energy, it feeds your life force.
I listen to a number of teleseminars and I remember hearing a couple of different interviews where the subject was the life force or energy of people. One interviewee was commenting that he had seen the life force of people drop drastically just in the 15 –20 years he had been doing the research. He was commenting that the force was very low right now.
I believe that living our passion is directly related to our life energy. If we are not in our passion we are not receiving the energy we desperately need to thrive. So few people actually live their passion right now. No wonder our energy is so low.
Our passion is our driving energy it is the reason we are here. Yes we can live without fulfilling a passion but are we really living or just existing.
Have you ever been so involved in something that you were not aware of time passing? I have. I would start working at 8 in the morning and be so inspired that when I finally realize my stomach was growling and I looked at the clock it would be 4pm!
Feed your energy. Feed your life force and live your passion.
I have read about a man that decided his passion was reading esoteric literature, things along the line of manifesting, self help, spirituality, meditating. So he quit his job and started reading. About 6 months later he realized his funds were getting low and he needed to do something if he wanted to keep eating. He told several people what he was learning and he started getting dinner invitations. He was booked for dinner every night because people were interested in what he was learning. Then the group talk request started coming in and he actually started making a living based on his passion for reading weird stuff.
This is important stuff. You must find a way to live your passion because that will feed your energy.

January 24th, 2010 >> Books, EFT, Energy, Meridian Tapping
The Bible in the energy medicine world is Donna Eden’s book “Energy Medicine”. This is a must have for anyone serious about energy work. I have read through the book and then tabbed various sections and refer back to them often.
Since I have incorporated her meridian tracing into my morning routine, when I give blood it goes much faster than it use to. Before, 3 people would come and go in the chair next to me while my bag was filling but after tracing meridians for several weeks I was like the normal people around me, in and out in a jiffy.
Donna Eden covers all types of things. Not only the meridians but also The Aura, Celtic Weave, Basic Grid, Five Rhythms, Strange Flows and of course the Chakras. She also list Acupuncture Tapping Points and it is interesting to see how these differ from the EFT points I learned.
This is a very good book and I cannot emphasize enough that you need this book if you are doing any serious energy work.
EFT Surrogate Study One Week Left To Sign Up

January 21st, 2010 >> EFT, Energy, Meridian Tapping
You have one week left to get in on the surrogate study I am running. January 31 will be the last day to sign up for the study. I would love to have you participate as the more people, the better the study will be.
Surrogate tapping is when someone (me in this case) performs the EFT on themselves on the behalf of someone else (you). You do not need to be there or even be aware of when the session is performed.
To learn more about surrogate tapping log into www.naturallyresilient.com and sign up for the free monthly tapping routine and receive the free “Surrogate Tapping -How to do it” report.
If you are interested in participating, just leave a comment (I screen comments so your comment will not be shown to the public) and I will send you a questionnaire to determine the best tapping routine to use for your problem. Don’t be shy, let me hear from you. It won’t hurt and it can only help.
Your Passion is Your Inner Power

Where does inner power come from?
I believe it comes from your passion. Your passion is your strength as it can move mountains. Don’t tell me that Napoleon did not have a passion. It might have been a misplaced passion to conquer the world, but he had a passion. All the great people we admire had a great passion for what they did. Mother Teresa felt compassion and developed a passion to help the unfortunates in Calcutta.
Did you notice how the word compassion has passion in it? I believe that is not a coincidence.
Passions can develop and change. What you were passionate about when young may be totally different 20 years later so it is always good to review your passions. If you are at a lost to what your passions are get a copy of “The Passion Test” . This book will help you discover who you are and what your passions are. If you know your passions, you are halfway to discovering your destiny and changing the world.
I have always been fascinated with what it takes to change the world.
How can one person create major change? I remember reading stories about kids not yet teens, who had made an impact on the world or at least their corner of it.
When I was young, I had no idea I could do anything like that. I didn’t even have control of my own life what would make me think I could do anything significant in the world, so I didn’t. It wasn’t until I turned 50 that I felt an energy shift and started realizing that one person can make a difference.
It is not an external power that creates change but an internal power acting on the external world. Every one knows that Napoleon was short, he was only 5’2” but did you know that Alexander the Great was only 5’. These people were small of stature but they had large internal power that they acted on the world around them.
I just watched the movie “Gandhi”. That was a man who assumed a figure of little power but because of his great internal power he accomplished much for many people.
The next question that begs to be answered is how do you get that strong inner power?
I will leave that for later.
Are You In The Middle Of Major Changes?

Did you ever have an idea come to you and then you start seeing it pop up in other ways?
I had an idea Saturday and wrote it on the cover of my TV Guide. Today I received a newsletter from Jen Blackert that really highlighted it. Since I am seeing it pop up I must write about it.
What popped into my mind on Saturday was a feeling of everyone jockeying for a new position. I know so many people who are in the process of changing their careers. Some people are changing their whole lives in the process. (I know 4 people in seminary or in the process for going to seminary). I am talking about major life changes.
It just reminded me of a horse race. Seeing the jockeys moving the horses around, trying to get in a better position. But I don’t see the object as winning the race but to just reposition themselves.
Jen Blackert wrote “I’m sure you sense that there is a monumental shift taking place in the world.” She goes on to say that even though this shift may have you concerned “The Truth is this shift is poised for major light” (meaning it is for the good).
So even if the world around you is in turmoil there is hope and I do believe things will work themselves out.
I am having a great time doing the surrogate EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) tapping study. Some issues I have worked on have shown great improvement while one in particular has been a real hard one to get any change to occur (if you are reading this, you know who you are). Most people have reported a general improvement.
I am closing the study on January 31. If you want to be included and get a free EFT session where you don’t even have to attend, fill out a comment for this blog and I will get back with you. All I ask from you is to fill out a questionnaire before the session and then another one after the session.
Thursday I am doing a session for a friend’s dog. I am not just limited to people.
In February, I will compile my data and have it available. Sign up for my Monthly Tapping Routine on my website at www.naturallyresilient.com and don’t be left out on other great opportunities that come along.
Tapping Study Continues Through January

December 30th, 2009 >> EFT, Energy, Meridian Tapping
I am continuing my study of the benefits of surrogate tapping till the end of January. More volunteers are welcome as a study is only good if you have a decent sample number.
What I need are people with problems they want help on. It could be a fear, phobia, ongoing pain of some type or something more general such as anxiety or panic attacks. I will be calling your energy to me to tap on for the problem. You will not know exactly when I will be tapping for you.
The main tapping technique I use is EFT. Through this session the problem may be cleared up or only slightly reduced for a short time and a few people may have no reaction at all.
Look at the questionnaire below and if you would like to participate just leave a comment and I will reply to you with an e-mail address. (Comments are not automatically put on blog, I review everything first so don’t worry about your comment being posted as a blog comment). You have nothing to lose as this will not make anything worse and it may help.
Questionnaire for Surrogate Tapping Volunteers
I will perform one of two different types of sessions.
Correspondence will be by e-mail.
Those that answer yes to question 1 below will be given a one-hour session. I will notify you of the session 24 hours before I perform the session but will not give a specific time. A follow up questionnaire will be sent to document any changes.
Those who answered yes to question 2 below will be given 5 short (10 to 15 minute) sessions during the week. I will notify you by e-mail when the series of sessions will start. A follow up questionnaire will be sent after the 5 consecutive sessions have been held.
If you answer yes to both 1 and 2, I will decide which session to use.
1. Do you have a specific issue, incident or pain you want worked on? ______
a. If you do what is it?
b. When did it start?
c. What was going on in your life at the time?
d. Any other info you think is pertinent.
2. Is there a nonspecific ongoing emotion you wish to work on such as depression, panic attacks, anxiety, etc.?
a. When did this start?
b. Do you know why it started?

Conscious Living

What is conscious living?
My definition is living a life where one is aware of and at peace with their actions. To be at peace with our actions means that we agree that we did the best we could, or we did what was right.
This is more than just knowing what I am doing; it is actually being in control of my actions and knowing why I am doing something. I am deliberately doing something with intention. This does not negate spontaneity. Sometimes an opportunity may come along and a person may deliberately decide they will take that opportunity. A person doesn’t just go along with the flow but they make their own path. In other words they know what they are doing and they agree with the action. In fact living a conscious life will actually open you up to more possibilities, as you will start to notice them.
Conscious living is living in the now. It is being aware of what is going on right now all around you. What do you hear right now? What do you smell? What do you see besides the words on this page? The now will open up in front of you and you will experience more and see more as you become aware.
I know I am not presenting this real well but a good and entertaining book about living the conscious life is Way of The Peaceful Warrior: A Book That Changes Lives by Dan Millman. This book tells the story of a young college athlete and his friendship with an old man who becomes his mentor in striving for a conscious life. This is a really inspiring and mind-opening book. It will change the way you look at your life. There are great possibilities out there but you have to be aware of them by being aware of what is going on around you. For those who prefer movies you are in luck Peaceful Warrior is in DVD form. If you need a Christmas present this will be one that will be used over and over.
Yesterday I talked about Censorship of Governments.
What about censorship of the individual? There are times I can think of that I would have been smarter to have kept my mouth shut. Sometimes it is a big battle to hold that little tongue. It may be small but it is powerful and the strongest men sometimes have trouble controlling it.
How many times have words gotten you into trouble? Words can start wars. Words can also end them. That is a powerful thing, words.
We have such freedom now days to get our words across: Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, Websites. Smart companies scan the web to see what people are saying about them because those words they find have a major influence not just on a few people but thousands, and thousands can impact their business.
But it is still the one-on-one words that have the most impact. What you say to your children, to your spouse those are the most important words.
As we land in this Christmas Season remember your words to those around you. You may have to hold back on what you say because it is not the loving thing to do. If you find yourself short of breath when you do this, it is only natural as your breath (voice) is being stifled. Just tell yourself “yes, I want to say something but this is not the loving thing to say at this time and it is my choice not to say this”. Then you will be able to catch your breath.
