Surrogate Meridian Tapping Study

Posted by: Ann

December 14th, 2009 >> EFT, Energy, Life, Meridian Tapping, Physical/Material

To whom all reads this. I am running a study on the benefits of surrogate tapping. I would love to have more participants. A study is only good if you have a decent sample number.

What I need are people with problems they want help on. It could be a fear, phobia, ongoing pain of some type or something more general such as anxiety or panic attacks.

Look at the questionnaire below and if you would like to participate just leave a comment and I will reply to you with an e-mail address. (Comments are not automatically put on blog, I review everything first so don’t worry your comment will not be posted as blog comments). You have nothing to lose as this will not make anything worse and it may help.

Questionnaire for Surrogate Tapping Volunteers

I will perform one of two different types of sessions.

Correspondence will be by e-mail.

Those that answer yes to question 1 below will be given a one-hour session. I will notify you of the session 24 hours before I perform the session but will not give a specific time.  A follow up questionnaire will be sent to document any changes.

Those who answered yes to question 2 below will be given 5 short (10 to 15 minute) sessions during the week. I will notify you by e-mail when the series of sessions will start. A follow up questionnaire will be sent after the 5 consecutive sessions have been held.

If you answer yes to both 1 and 2, I will decide which session to use.

1. Do you have a specific issue, incident or pain you want worked on? ______
a. If you do what is it?
b. When did it start?
c. What was going on in your life at the time?
d. Any other info you think is pertinent.
2. Is there a nonspecific ongoing emotion you wish to work on such as depression, panic attacks, anxiety, etc.?
a. When did this start?
b. Do you know why it started?
c. Was there a specific event that happened at that time?
3. Are you willing to fill out a form with in 24 hours after notification that a session has been completed? ______ This form will be sent with the notification that a session has been completed.
4. Provide your name and City, State (or Country if not in the United States).
5. Please provide an e-mail address. This e-mail will not be sold or given to others.

The Meridian

December 10th, 2009 >> Books, EFT, Energy, Life, Meridian Tapping, Vibration

Just like we have a circulatory system, a lymph system and a nervous system, we also have a meridian system. The meridian is an energy system and parts of it have been photographed. I understand that it is as thin as a fishing line.

After I read Donna Eden’s book Energy Medicine: Balancing Your Body’s Energies for Optimal Health, Joy, and Vitality — Updated and Expanded I started running my meridians every morning. That is when you run your hand over the meridian. Just like in Reiki where the palm is used for healing, your palm is used to smooth out the meridian and get the energy going in the right direction.

Once you learned the meridians, it does not take long to do. A couple of minutes while in the shower does it. What are my benefits? Well, I don’t give anything up easily and that includes my blood. I am not a free bleeder. If I bleed, it is not for very long. So when I give blood it takes at least 20 minutes, and usually 3 people come and go on the table next to me. I have even been stuck and they could not get anything to come out! After I had been running my meridians for a couple of weeks, my husband and I went to give blood. This time I was finished before my husband was, and he has “garden hose” for veins (those are his words). He asked me what happened, did they give up on me and I said, “No, I was through”. The only thing I could attribute that to was that I had been running the meridians, one of which is the heart meridian and another is the circulatory meridian.

It is an interesting exercise and I recommend it. You may not feel any obvious changes right away unless your meridians are really messed up to begin with.

Reiki

December 9th, 2009 >> Energy, Life, Truth, Vibration

Yesterday I talked about NAET, which is geared to allergies, but there are forms of energy work that are geared to physical problems. One is Reiki. The reiki.org website explains it well. “Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.”

My husband has had Reiki training and explains it as a laying on of hands. He has used it to help my son with his headaches however he has not been as successful with my headaches. My husband says I hold on to them for some reason. I found out where my headaches are coming from when I had a life reading this summer, but that is a topic for another day.

Do you have a massage therapist that you really like? One that when you finish a session you feel a lot better and more carefree? They may be using Reiki or another form of energy work besides just massage. Chiropractors also tend to use a lot of the energy modalities. Our local military base has even allowed Reiki in to treat soldiers (but it is a through the back door operation. The military is not ready to openly acknowledge it because of complications with insurance coverage.)

Tomorrow I will talk about an energy method that our western medical doctors and psychiatrist are starting to use very successfully, but this one you can even do yourself.

Energy Work

Are you familiar with Meridian Tapping? If not I highly recommend it. If you don’t know what I am talking about go to www.naturallyresilient.com and watch the video on EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). This is an example of a Meridian Tapping modality. Meridian Tapping involves tapping on various acupuncture points to stimulate them and add energy into the meridian. By adding this energy, many problems can be easily overcome.

Sounds weird doesn’t it. That is what I thought when I first heard of it.

My first experience with a Tapping Therapy involved NAET (NAET.com), which is mainly geared to allergies. I had been going to an allergist for years, taking shots, was even on high powered inhalers because I had developed asthma. I hate not being able to breath, that is the one fear that really scared me most of my life, suffocating. May be that is from a past life experience.

I had a friend that saw how I was suffering, gasping for breath. She recommended some one who did allergy elimination. It sounded so weird; it took me 3 months to talk myself into going. I reasoned I would try it one time and see what happened and if it was a fraud, I was only out a small amount of money.

I was blown away. The first treatment was for my lactose intolerance. Before the treatment if I took a tablespoon of milk, I would end up in the bathroom in agony for 3 hours with what my family fondly calls the screaming squirts. But wow, after the treatment, I could eat ice cream and drink milk again. I continued going back to get all my allergies cleared up. The treatment for grasses cleared the asthma.

Needless to say, I was impressed and have been an advocate for energy medicine ever since. Give it a try; you may be just as blown away as I was.

More on Contracts from Beyond

December 6th, 2009 >> Life, Reincarnation, Relationship

Ok, your life is hard, too hard. You don’t think you can go on much longer. If this is your contract you made before coming here, you may have decided you have taken on more than you can handle, can you rewrite the contract?

Have an earnest talk with you guides and tell them how you feel. They are there to help you. If you want it changed, tell them. However they maybe able to see farther down the road and you may be closer to the end of your troubles than you think. Unless you anticipated such a move when you wrote the contract you could probably change it. If you anticipated that you might try and back out, you might have put a ‘no back out’ clause in the contract knowing that you could endure and the results would be worth the short term discomfort. Remember our current life is like a drop of water in the sea of existence.

Hang in there

Contract from Beyond

December 5th, 2009 >> Life, Reincarnation, Spirituality

I talked about having a contract from the “other side” before we get to this plane of existence.

What kind of contracts would we write up? I believe it is things that would further us along our path. Maybe we need to learn acceptance so we agree to a contract with others who will be that child or elderly parent who we will need to accept into our lives. Or we may make it more personal and come into this world with a deformity that will make us hard to accept to others.

Maybe we need to experience patience or abundance. Just like a painter has to put light against dark and dark against light for the colors to show, we have to experience the hate to experience the love, experience the need to appreciate the abundance. There is a reason we have the negative, it is so we can see the positive.

Just be assured that you will experience what you need to experience and be where you need to be as that is in your contract. Hopefully you have written in a good ending.

Why Are You Here?

Posted by: Ann

December 3rd, 2009 >> Life, Reincarnation

I have often asked myself that question. Why am I here?

From an early age I have believed in reincarnation. In this belief there is the idea that we are here for some reason of our own choosing.

When I was a teenager I hoped that this time around the reason would be “just for the fun of it”. I just did not want a lot of work. Well it has been a lot of work! Maybe I knew that it would be a lot of work and I was dreading what was to come.

I think we put together a contract and a loose game plan for this life. It is a good thing we do not remember what we agreed to before coming here or we would be in a panic the whole time here and not accomplish anything.

Look back on your own life for the last 10 years and see how it has changed.

But what if we knew how things would turn out. What if we could see that light at the end of the tunnel. Would we be more relaxed about life and the dramas that are going on around us.

What is your reason for being here? I think everyone has a different reason. Most of us probably don’t have a clue. I think Mine is to grow and stretch spiritually.

What do you believe?

Celebrate Each Day

December 1st, 2009 >> Life

“We can learn so much by observing the way our pets rejoice in life’s simplest moments. For a dog, every morning is Christmas morning. Every walk is the best walk, every meal is the best meal. Take time every day to celebrate the many gifts that are hidden in the ordinary events of your life.” —- Cesar Millan, The Dog Whisperer

We tend to neglect the little celebrations in life and go for the big ones such as Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, Birthdays, etc. Why can’t everyday be Christmas? Not with the gifts and the stress but with the joy and the hope and the happiness. Each day has it’s own celebratory events. It may be seeing a rainbow or tasting a heavenly slice of cake or having a purring cat sleep in your lap.

To Practice This Thought: Look for the joy and the magic in each day. At the end of the day list at least three things that were magical to you.

Attitude is Everything

November 30th, 2009 >> Life, Manifesting, Physical/Material

I have been harping on Challenges and Problems lately.

They are so important because your attitude is important. If you have a good attitude things tend to fall into place. This is the law of attraction working.

I have been paying attention to my attitude and what has been going on this year. There were times I was sinking in my financial problems not seeing a way out. When that happened I usually could not see how next months bills were going to be paid. But then I would tell myself, I was not going to go there and everything would be ok. I would have to force an attitude adjustment on myself. When I did that, soon something would happen and money would come through.

I deliberately noted that the attitude change came before the problem cleared up.

What has been the challenge is to keep that positive attitude. All year I have vacillated between the two. Feeling optimistic then feeling pessimistic. That is my main challenge. What is yours.

Stay Optimistic

November 29th, 2009 >> Life, Physical/Material, Relationship

As I mentioned yesterday, you can have challenges and you can have problems. Challenges are a more optimistic way of looking at them. Challenges give a sense of hope that you can rise above the situation. Problems sound more ongoing something that you never quite get rid of.

You can turn your problems into challenges. This is not always easy to do. It requires you to stay hopeful and optimistic even when you do not feel like it. Thinking of your problem as temporary can make you feel more hopeful right away.

If you are jobless, or homeless or your relationship has just fallen apart, it is not the end of the world. It may feel like it right now but there is a tomorrow and you can stay hopeful of the possibilities of what is to come.

Dream big. Think about the best possible outcome. Who knows, you may get 4 job offers tomorrow, someone you hardly know may offer you free housing, you may literally run into someone who develops into the perfect relationship.

The main thing is to remain positive and optimistic.
