The Meridian

Just like we have a circulatory system, a lymph system and a nervous system, we also have a meridian system. The meridian is an energy system and parts of it have been photographed. I understand that it is as thin as a fishing line.
After I read Donna Eden’s book Energy Medicine: Balancing Your Body’s Energies for Optimal Health, Joy, and Vitality — Updated and Expanded I started running my meridians every morning. That is when you run your hand over the meridian. Just like in Reiki where the palm is used for healing, your palm is used to smooth out the meridian and get the energy going in the right direction.
Once you learned the meridians, it does not take long to do. A couple of minutes while in the shower does it. What are my benefits? Well, I don’t give anything up easily and that includes my blood. I am not a free bleeder. If I bleed, it is not for very long. So when I give blood it takes at least 20 minutes, and usually 3 people come and go on the table next to me. I have even been stuck and they could not get anything to come out! After I had been running my meridians for a couple of weeks, my husband and I went to give blood. This time I was finished before my husband was, and he has “garden hose” for veins (those are his words). He asked me what happened, did they give up on me and I said, “No, I was through”. The only thing I could attribute that to was that I had been running the meridians, one of which is the heart meridian and another is the circulatory meridian.
It is an interesting exercise and I recommend it. You may not feel any obvious changes right away unless your meridians are really messed up to begin with.
